Expansion of the Sund Plant – Station 3

The Faroe Islands’ electricity supply company, SEV, has expanded Sundsværket from the current two stations with a third station. The new station will contain four engines. The waste heat will be recycled at the plant and in the district heating network.

SMJ has been responsible for project management, fire safety advice, authority applications, and design of cables in the terrain, electrical systems, and pipe systems. It has also been the client’s adviser in connection with the purchase of equipment.
