Arctic Fish Facility

In close collaboration with Arctic Fish, SMJ provided consultancy in the form of due diligence, assessment and analysis of tender material, technical and biological status evaluations, quality assurance, and project management regarding the new RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) station at Arctic Fish. The station is located in Tálknafjord, Iceland, and was constructed during the period 2021-23. However, the unthinkable happened when it burned to the ground in February 2023, shortly before it was scheduled to be commissioned.
