Føroya Sjósavn (the National Oceanarium)

SMJ is the lead consultant on the project to construct a new marine museum in Argir.

The purpose of Føroya Sjósavn is to serve as a centre for knowledge and learning about the ocean and marine life around the Faroe Islands.

The new building will be approximately 2,200 m² with a total aquarium capacity of 700 tonnes.

The consultant team also includes SPENN, Arkitektar 99, and Lofti Arkitektar.
