The Green Energy Transition – Recording Energy Consumption for Heating Homes and Buildings in the Faroe Islands

SMJ has recently been working on mapping the heating requirements of all houses and buildings in the Faroe Islands. This task is now complete, and the results have been organized into a database, allowing for more detailed analysis.

The basis for this work was public statistics and data that we have processed, along with assessments and observations to ensure as accurate data collection as possible. This provides us with a substantial foundation to analyze the needs in relation to the green energy transition.
