The studies were conducted at Bakkafrost&#8217;s RAS facilities in Nor\u00f0toftir and Vi\u00f0arei\u00f0i weekly for 12 weeks (one cycle). By examining the microbiology in the samples over an extended period and linking these data to the prevailing production conditions, insight is gained into the interaction between microbiology and fish welfare.
