Large water pipelines are being laid in the center of Klaksv\u00edk, carrying so-called &#8220;brine&#8221; water, which is heated by the sea through exchangers. The heating of buildings is carried out using heat pumps, which are connected to the pipelines and utilize the heated brine water to warm the swimming hall, schools, sports halls, and other buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By electrifying the heating with heat pumps, a significant portion of the energy comes from the sea, and the rest from electricity. The electricity part is produced by SEV, with more than half coming from renewable sources such as wind and water.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow
